Chess where pieces merge

Fusor is fusion chess: every piece can merge with a friendly piece and move as both. Play a friend with a link, or climb a separate practice rating against the bot.

Fuse two of your pieces onto one square and they move as both. Disconnect them later to redeploy. The king stays a king. Checkmate still wins.

Challenge a friend with a link — you don't both have to be sitting in the queue. A daily game is one move per day. There is also one fusion puzzle each UTC day, and a Saturday arena. Bot games are saved on a separate practice rating, so playing alone still counts.
